At the 2008 Floral Summit many shop owners got together to discuss the key aspects of a successful incentive/loyalty program. The goal was to combine their real-world experience with known best practices and come up with a plan that would help florists implement a new (or improve an existing) program as soon as they returned to their stores.
Loyalty programs are structured marketing efforts that reward, and therefore encourage, loyal buying behavior — behavior which is potentially of benefit to the firm.
