Kieren MacMillan is a FileMaker Certified Developer (v7/8/9/10/11/12) and FileMaker Authorized Trainer (v7/8/9/10/11/12). Developing, deploying, and training since 1997, his clients include government (Nebraska Department of Education), educational institutions (The Mabin School), and businesses both small (CoreSolutions Software Inc.) and large (The Walt Disney Company). In addition to FileMaker, his areas of specialty include Java, XML/XSLT, and algorithmic optimization. He is the perfect person to take the feedback from our florist clients and front-line employees and make it work.
When he's not computing, Kieren is a composer, performer, and music director. He is particularly proud of his recent work with Toronto's talented youth, having music directed over a hundred performances with the Toronto Youth Theatre ("Cabaret", "City of Angels", "Lucky Stiff") and the Randolph Young Company ("West Side Story"). His own musical, "Fairy Tale Ending" (co-written with Jeremy Hutton), will be seen at the 2010 Toronto FringeKids! Festival. His most recent classical work will be released on compact disc in late 2010.
